Weekend Review

"The Team" Don, Me, Peter, Martin, Graham and Rob after our 6ft training run on Sunday.
Sunday was my first trip to the 6ft track. I absolutely looooved it! We ran approx 36km from Megalong down to Cox's River then up to the Pluviometer and return. An encounter with a red belly black snake made things a little interesting. Saw Kit and BernieG on the track and later on ran into Blue Dog, Razor, Deanne, Sarge and a few others.
Great training run and I have recovered really well. I'm pretty happy with how the build up has been going so far and look forward to the 10th March.
Pumped out an easy 10k recovery run this morning. Felt great! Cycle to the pool for a swim this afternoon.

nice run Nat :)
Biiiig run Nat - welcome to the club :-)
hey, who is this? claiming to enjoy 30-odd kms on 6FT - also claiming to ride a bike *on the road* to the pool for a swim - 2 posts in the same week ...
Hey! Nice to see you out on the track. we were all sprung ;-)
We also saw the red bellied black snake.... but did you see the naked german???
What a fit looking bunch. You must be in good hands there.
No chance of doing any secret training though. It must be like Pitt St out there on the weekends at the moment ;-)
All I saw up the track was a huge goanna up a tree. Good to see you getting some training up there.
You sure that photo was taken before the run or is that just scare tatics in case your opposition is reading. You all look as though you could do it again.
Seriously, nice run.
BTW did you ask Kit how she knew the naked person was German.....Did she stop for a chat ;-p
I am going to have to come & join "the Team" on occasion to even up the numbers!
You are going to smash Six Foot. But you won't be surprised to know that I'm not at all disappointed about the fact that I won't be joining the cheersquad this year
:-)
I recognise that car park!
So that's what Graham is up to... he used to be a half decent track runner at Girraween.
The red belly blacks are OK - just watch out for the browns.
Nice to see you posting again Nat, and glad to hear you're enjoying some time on The Track :)
